When the parties in a divorce proceeding can’t agree on the sale of their property, the court will give them the option, which can quickly become a mandate, to choose a Real Estate Special Commissioner to manage the transaction. I have been qualified by the court to act in that capacity and am prepared to follow the court’s strict guidelines laid out in the court order. When the parties are adversarial or simply can’t agree, I will favor neither side, but make certain that the listing and sale are expedited in a manner that is acceptable to the court and ultimately benefits both parties.

I have worked closely with a court-appointed fiduciary for years and have been called upon to provide documentation and testimony to the court. I have handled difficult cases involving persons declared incompetent, persons deceased without proper documentation, decrepit and/or hoarder properties, hidden liens and properties requiring short sales. I understand difficult transactions and have the character and competency to see them through to a successful conclusion.
